Frog And Scorpion SIT Series
To support individuals in their psychospiritual journey, Dr Toula has created a unique suite of SIT® tools—including a five-part Frog and Scorpion book series where each ‘room’ reflects a different aspect of our shadow self. Each book in the series may be purchased on Amazon or found in local libraries. They include:
- Frog and Scorpion in the Boardroom explores the corporate shadow self—inner conflict that often emerges when leading in professional settings, families, romantic partnerships, or other relationships. This internal tension can lead to heightened stress, pressure, and unbalanced power dynamics

- Frog and Scorpion in the Bedroom represents the romantic shadow self, delving into themes of intimacy, sexuality, vulnerability, and the unconscious dynamics in close personal relationships.

Frog and Scorpion in the Living Room addresses the family shadow self, including parent-child conflict, intergenerational patterns, and our roles within domestic or social life based on our early childhood or adolescent experiences.

Frog and Scorpion in the Dark Room explores the addictive shadow self, where compulsions, overwork, impulsivity, perfectionism, idealism and over or under-caring may sabotage well-being, health and happiness.

Frog and Scorpion in the Dream Room invites reflection on the ancestral shadow self—the spiritual part of us connected to hope, sleep, imagination, soul, joy and the collective unconscious.

By working with the characters of the Frog (the over-caring, emotional shadow self denoted by the character Emily in the SIT series) and the Scorpion (the under-caring, reactive shadow self denoted by the character Jack in the SIT series), women leaders can begin to recognise, embrace and then integrate both sides of themselves using the characters as a guide. The aim is not to eliminate either part, but to bring them into balance—so that leadership can arise from a place of self-awareness, emotional clarity and inner alignment.
Your leadership story
Using the SIT Shadow Work™ approach, leaders can reclaim the whole house of their inner world. They do this by rewriting their leadership story—transforming not only how they lead, but also how they live, love, laugh and learn. To complete this course, and to consciously re-write your unconscious leadership story, you will need the following materials:
- A blank paper mask (or draw a mask on paper)
- Pens, pencils, or paint
- A small hand mirror
- A quiet space (preferably in nature) to reflect
- A journal or workbook
- Dr Toula’s Frog and Scorpion SIT series of books or ebooks
