What is Story Image Therapy (SIT®)?
SIT (pronounced “sit”) is a transpersonal depth psychology approach based on Carl Jung’s work with symbols, stories and imagery. Through guided reflection and therapeutic reading and writing, it helps people explore emotional patterns and behaviour. SIT is grounded in Jungian action research and lived experience.

How does SIT Shadow Work™ help?

How can SIT improve my life, work or relationships?
SIT helps you recognise and work through limiting beliefs and unhelpful patterns. It strengthens self-awareness, decision-making, leadership skills and emotional balance through guided imagery and storytelling. As a largely self-directed process, it helps build confidence and practical change in everyday life.
Can I do SIT remotely?
Yes, the Shadow Self Program will soon be available online. It is comprised of two Shadow Self courses initially, with more scheduled for 2026. Individual sessions with Dr Toula are also presently available through Google Meet, Zoom or WhatsApp, making them accessible from anywhere.
